Johnson Recreation Center is a neighborhood-level recreation center in the northwest area, offering a variety of features such as weight and cardio rooms, a gym, and a multipurpose room. Our aerobics room and racquetball court (closed and repurposed as a boxing studio as of 12/20/19) provide an array of activities for our patrons to enjoy. Additionally, we offer two free youth membership programs, “Tasty Food” Where Denver Youth Eat Free! and MY Denver Prime, and Active Older Adult (AOA) classes for our city’s residents ages 60 and older. At Johnson Recreation Center, we strive to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for our patrons to exercise and have fun.
