At the Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF), we strive to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their physical, cognitive, and emotional fitness goals through outdoor physical activity. Our students range from those with learning disabilities to those with congenital and inherited disorders, amputation, traumatic brain injury, or autism. We offer winter programs for skiing, snowboarding and cross country, as well as a Sensory Friendly Ski Snowboard program that provides fitness and social opportunities for individuals on the spectrum. Our Senior Sliders program is a social club for adult students with autism, while our Junior Sliders program helps younger students become independent enough to take their lessons with the mainstream snowsports school. ASF also supports an active Special Olympics program with six team members with autism.
