At Aikido In Fredericksburg, we provide children with a non-competitive athletic activity that teaches many lessons beyond self-defense. Our Youth Specials Class is specifically tailored to meet the needs of special needs youth such as those with autism or Down syndrome. We strive to help our students progress at their own rate and develop confidence in their own abilities, while also teaching them important values such as respect, discipline, and perseverance. Our classes are designed to foster communication, cooperation, and self-discipline skills without aggression, and are divided according to size and maturity levels for safe practice.
