At AIRES, we are committed to providing person-centered services of the highest quality to children and adults with disabilities and the elderly. Founded in 1978 by Vivian Taylor, we are proud to serve over 400 people across Arizona. Vivian was appalled by the inadequate supports she encountered while working as an educator in the 1970s and dedicated her life to advocating for change and improving the lives of those with developmental disabilities. AIRES was created as a result of her hard work and commitment to making people aware of the conditions and rallying support for improving the system. Vivian’s mantra of “I touch one strand and the whole web dances” serves as an inspiration for our vision and values. With her dedication to doing what is right, we strive to make a difference one person at a time.
