At Alabama Autism Assistance Program, we understand the importance of making the right decision for your family. That’s why we provide resources to help you decide if applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the right choice for your child. Our guide outlines what ABA therapy is, the benefits and risks, and how to start or end the process in a safe and effective way. We also emphasize that it’s essential to find a provider who understands that the goal of therapy is not to “fix” or “cure” autism, but to help people learn and develop to their full potential while embracing their unique personality traits.
