About Allen R. Friedland

At Allen R. Friedland, M.D., FACP, FAAP, we specialize in internal medicine for adults and pediatrics for children. Dr. Friedland joined ChristianaCare in 1998 and has since been board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, respectively. He is the director of the Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program at ChristianaCare, part of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and serves as clinical faculty for the Center for Special Health Care Needs. Dr. Friedland earned his medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed a combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospital and Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati. He has been named a Top Doctor in the areas of pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and internal medicine by Philadelphia and Delaware publications.
