Alternative Paths Training (APTS) is a special education day school in Fredericksburg East Building that offers a highly structured classroom setting for students with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities, such as Emotional and Learning Disabilities. Our program specializes in intensive services for students who engage in self-injurious and aggressive behaviors. By facilitating students’ access to learning and growth opportunities, we work to challenge and support them to become as successful as possible. Through our implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), students engage in academic, vocational, and life skills tracks on a daily basis from 8:10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
