Alternative Paths Training (APTS) is a special education day school in Fredericksburg West Building offering a highly structured environment for students with disabilities, including Autism, Emotional and Learning Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities. Our program specializes in intensive services for students with self-injurious and aggressive behaviors. Our mission is to support and challenge students to become successful academically, socially, emotionally, and in other aspects of life. Our curriculum includes academic, vocational, and life skills tracks with full implementation of each student’s individualized education program (IEP). We provide education daily from 8:10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
