Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI) is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 and proudly serving 300 consumers throughout Shiawassee County, Michigan. We specialize in providing various levels of support to people with disabilities in a variety of settings. ASI was directly involved in the de-institutionalization transition in the 1980s, and we continue to be progressive in our approach to true person-centered services. Our mission is always to support people to experience meaningful lives. We create barrier-free group homes and other integrated options for people living with disabilities, so they can have as much control as possible over their lives.
