Through the YWCA Encore Program, we provide free session-based programs designed specifically for those who have experienced cancer at any time in their lives. This program incorporates gentle exercises, relaxation techniques, information and peer group support, making it safe, fun and therapeutic. Our land exercise program targets areas affected by surgery and treatment, while our warm water aquatic program relieves affected muscles. Finally, our peer group support sessions provide an opportunity for people to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment – all with no membership required.
