At Arms Wide Open (AWO), we offer a unique and innovative program for individuals with special needs. Our specialized instruction includes dance, drama, singing, choreography, and acting, which helps those with special needs express themselves, provides an outlet for emotions, encourages socialization, and creates an inclusive environment with other children. Through our performing arts programs, we strive to reduce the stigma associated with special needs and provide tools to stay active and build a social network. Our instruction also has a positive emotional effect, helping to stimulate the “feelgood” endorphins through music and self-expression.
