Aspira Family Focused Support Network (FFSN) is a Modesto-based program designed to assist families with children who have developmental disabilities and/or special health care needs. Our practical support program offers tools for families to keep their children with disabilities living at home instead of in group care. Our Family Focused Support Network is voluntary, and we are referred to by state-funded Developmental Regional Center case managers. An individualized program is specially tailored to each child and family and includes training, family meetings, and home visits designed to improve parenting skills and enhance the quality of life for the child and all family members. Founded in 1995, more than 100 families have completed our program. At Aspira, we strive to provide families with the support and resources they need to keep their children with disabilities safe and happy at home.
