Southern Adirondack Independent Living (SAIL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to assistive technology for individuals with disabilities in New York State through its Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program. Our Regional TRAID Centers provide device loans, hands-on training, and support to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. The TRAID Program is funded by grants from the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL), the NYS Department of Health and ACCES-VR, and our Regional TRAID Centers are located throughout the state. From wheelchairs to hearing aids, our Regional TRAID Centers provide a variety of devices for home, school, and work settings, allowing individuals with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
