Suffolk Independent Living Organization (SILO) is a proud partner of the Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program, providing access to assistive technology to New Yorkers with disabilities throughout the state. Our Regional TRAID Centers provide device loans and hands-on training to people with disabilities, giving them the chance to use a variety of assistive devices for home, school, or work settings. The Justice Center administers the TRAID Program through grants from the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL), the NYS Department of Health, and ACCES-VR. SILO is dedicated to providing the best possible support and resources to those with disabilities, enabling them to live with independence and dignity.
