Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is a therapeutic clinic practice that provides services for children with special needs in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Founded in October 2007 by Renea Sageser, a stay-at-home mom, APT opened its first clinic in January, 2008 in Shelbyville, KY. From 6 part-time employees in 2008, APT has grown to over 200 employees strong and continues to expand. Our mission is to open clinics in rural areas so that children can receive quality care closer to their homes. We offer multiple pediatric services to the patient and family using a team approach, in fun and exciting locations that appeal to the patient and family. We value our partnerships with other pediatric facilities, including local daycares, pediatric nursing facilities, and private and public schools, so that therapy can be provided within a child’s natural learning environment.
