Our mission is to empower individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to lead meaningful, self-directed lives and to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect. As part of this mission, Athelas Institute, Inc. offers a variety of alternative opportunities through its AO Program, including educational, rehabilitative, residential, employment and individual support services. Our highly-trained staff members are committed to providing quality services that are tailored to the individual needs of each person we serve. With our holistic approach, we strive to create lasting opportunities for individuals with IDD to reach their fullest potential and achieve greater independence.
