AutCom is the first autism advocacy organization dedicated to “Social Justice for All Autistics”. Founded in 1990, AutCom works to protect and advance the human rights and civil rights of individuals with autism and related differences of communication and behavior. We believe in the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all individuals, regardless of autism-related differences. At AutCom, we strive to challenge social policies that devalue individuals with autism and are expressed through segregation, medicalization, and aversive conditioning. Our commitment to positive approaches and shared vision makes us dedicated to providing social justice for all autistics.
