At the Autism Spectrum Disorders Program at Laurel Heights Hospital, we understand that one of the most important questions you may have is “How much does ABA therapy cost?” The short answer is that ABA is usually covered by insurance if you have an autism diagnosis. Autism is typically the only diagnosis insurance companies will authorize for ABA services since its benefits have been extensively researched. It is important to confirm with your specific insurance plan that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnosis and that the provider you are seeking care from is in-network. To help you get started, the Autism Spectrum Disorders Program at Laurel Heights Hospital has created a comprehensive guide to ABA therapy, so you can make an informed decision.
