Avita Community Partners is a Georgia-based organization established by the 1993 State Legislature to provide services to people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse issues. Our mission is to create safe and meaningful lives for citizens in Northeast Georgia through comprehensive programs and services. We strive to reduce barriers and help individuals and families reach their goals. Our vision is for communities to be responsible and supportive of all citizens, and for the people we serve to have a home, job, and meaningful relationships. We value family participation in planning, and we strive to create natural support systems for individuals and families in crisis.
