Have questions?

At Bacot Academy, we understand that it can be difficult to know if your child needs speech therapy. That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive guide to help you determine if your child needs speech therapy. Our guide will provide you with detailed information on signs that your child needs speech therapy, such as difficulty responding to questions, difficulty starting or ending a conversation, difficulty changing conversation topics, using gestures, and understanding other people’s body language. Additionally, we discuss why speech therapy is so important for autistic children, the importance of language development, and how speech therapy can help your child be more independent and confident. By reading our guide, you can make an informed decision on whether speech therapy is right for your child.

At Bacot Academy, our speech therapists can help your child improve in many areas. By working with our professionals, your child can learn to communicate more effectively and build a variety of skills, such as understanding non-verbal cues, forming speech more clearly, expressing thoughts and feelings, responding to questions, and discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions. Additionally, we can help with developing body language and speech fluency, as well as with feeding and swallowing.
