About Beacon Day School

Beacon Day School (BDS) is a California non-public school for children with autism and related disorders. Founded in 2004 by Dr. Mary Jo Lang, a clinical psychologist and autism parent, BDS is dedicated to improving the lives of students and families with autism. Fully accredited by the California Department of Education, BDS serves students from school districts across Southern California with a safe, compassionate, and nurturing school community. We recognize the unique and diverse academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of the autism population and strive to meet those needs with our quality educational programs.
