About Bergen Center for Child Development

Bergen Center for Child Development is a New Jersey State-approved private school located in Haworth, NJ, serving students with disabilities from kindergarten through grade 12, as well as those ages 18-21. Our supportive and therapeutic educational environment provides a warm, family-like atmosphere for students with disabilities to thrive and grow. We offer both classroom and community-based instruction, with emphasis on academic and social/emotional learning, as well as life experiences, self-esteem, and appropriate behaviors. Our school is conveniently located minutes from Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway, providing easy access to students and families. We strive to foster intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude toward life long learning.
