Best Buddies Long Beach is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing people with developmental disabilities with opportunities to form meaningful one-on-one friendships. Our volunteers are carefully selected and undergo an extensive application process, background check and are required to maintain weekly contact with their Buddy. Through our program, individuals with disabilities gain valuable socialization skills, a heightened sense of independence and increased self-confidence. As a part of our mission, we strive to create a world where people with disabilities are accepted and supported by the community.
