Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC) is a Virginia Department of Education-licensed day school in Lexington, serving children and families with unique learning challenges, such as autism and learning disabilities. BRAAC provides specialized educational programs in a private school setting, direct and consultative services in public schools, after-school tutoring, specialized services in homes, and educational development for staff, local school divisions, community support professionals, and family members. Our purpose is to promote learning and development through individualized learning experiences, a multi-sensory approach to teaching reading, writing, spelling, and arithmetic, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Discrete Trial Therapy, Verbal Behavior, and Task Analysis. We strive to foster curiosity and a love of learning in each student and believe that all students have potential to unlock.
