Bright Start Pediatric Services can help you determine if your child needs speech therapy. Speech therapy is often recommended for autistic children as it helps them develop crucial communication skills. Signs that a child may need speech therapy include difficulty responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics, understanding body language, and saying only a few words or not speaking at all. Early intervention is key for language development, and Bright Start Pediatric Services can help you assess your child’s needs and provide them with the best care. Check out our guide on speech therapy for everything you need to know. With Bright Start Pediatric Services, you can be sure that your child is receiving the best possible speech therapy for their growth and development.
Bright Start Pediatric Services can help your child with various aspects of speech therapy. Our speech therapists can assist with nonverbal skills such as signs or gestures, forming speech in a clearer way, communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing and understanding body language, feeding and swallowing, and even stuttering. Our goal is to help your child communicate effectively across all environments, including using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
