Camp Shriver at UMass Boston is an inclusive summer camp for children with and without disabilities. Since 2006, we have welcomed more than 1500 children, half with and half without intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 8-12, from low-income families in the Boston area. We provide a free, unique program that is designed to enroll an equal number of children with and without disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that all children can play, learn, and interact with their peers, no matter their disability status. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all children so that they can benefit from an inclusive summer camp experience.
