Dr. Cassandra Simms is board certified in both Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has extensive experience in the field, having obtained her medical degree from the University of Kentucky in 1999 and completing her Psychiatry Residency and Child/Adolescent Fellowship at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Simms has been providing outpatient and inpatient care to adults and children since 2004, and has been a faculty member with University of Tennessee School of Medicine since 2009. In 2015, she founded her private practice, Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, PLLC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has since been joined by several therapists and a Nurse Practitioner to provide services to the local community. Dr. Simms collaborates with Health Connect and Centerstone to provide medical management to clients in their program and offer supervision to Nurse Practitioners in the surrounding areas.
