At Cathryn Ross, MD, we strive to help your child reach their full potential by diagnosing and treating any cognitive and/or behavioral challenges they may have. Our experienced team evaluates their strengths and weaknesses in the eight major brain functions—attention, memory, sequential skills, spatial awareness, language, motor skills, higher order cognition and social abilities. These tests supplement school evaluations that determine your child’s grade level in reading, math, and written language. Through our assessment, we can identify the cause of any academic problems, allowing us to provide specific treatments and educate you on your child’s strengths and weaknesses. We then create a written report to help the school system develop an individualized treatment program to promote your child’s academic, behavioral, emotional, and social success.
