Center for Assistive Technology & Inclusive Education Studies

CATIES is a research and service initiative of The College of New Jersey’s School of Education that strives to improve the educational experiences of children with disabilities. We provide a variety of evaluations, such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, and functional behavior assessments, as well as customizing professional development workshops on a range of topics. Furthermore, we have received funding from Disabilities Rights NJ to provide information and training to teachers and parents on selecting iPad apps for children and youth with disabilities. As a Word Q Ambassador, CATIES is committed to providing the best possible service to our customers.
