The Center for Independence (CFI) is a non-profit, consumer-driven and community-based organization in Montrose, Colorado. Our mission is to provide individualized services and system advocacy to people with all types of disabilities. We are dedicated to helping individuals with newly acquired disabilities due to aging, illness, or accidents, as well as those living with lifelong disabilities. Our goal is to create a personalized goal plan (independent living plan) that meets the individual needs and capabilities of each client. CFI strives to empower individuals with disabilities to lead independent lives by providing community solutions and resources. We are committed to helping empower individuals to reach their maximum potential and live life to the fullest.
