About Child Care Action Council

For over 30 years, the Child Care Action Council has worked to provide high-quality, affordable child care services in our local community. Founded in 1987 by a passionate group of parents, child care professionals, employers, school government representatives, and other concerned citizens, we are dedicated to meeting the child care needs of families and helping to ensure that all children have access to safe and enriching care. Our team of experienced professionals provide innovative solutions to the unique challenges of child care access and affordability, offering comprehensive consulting and training services that are tailored to the specific needs of each family and community. Through our ongoing efforts, we are working to create a more robust and equitable child care system throughout our region.
