Have questions?

At Children at Play, we understand how important it is to recognize the signs that your child might need speech therapy. It’s often recommended for autistic children since they can struggle with social communication. If a child is very verbal but has difficulty with communication skills such as responding to questions, changing conversation topics, using gestures, and understanding other people’s body language, they may need speech therapy. Early intervention is key to helping children learn language and communication skills, and it can help them grow into independent and confident individuals. If your child is very quiet, speaks only a few words, or does not speak at all, it may be time to consider speech therapy. Our comprehensive guide can help you learn more about the importance of speech therapy and what to expect.

At Children at Play, we understand how important it is for your child to be able to communicate effectively. We provide customized speech therapy services to help your child develop the necessary speech, language, and nonverbal skills needed to do so. Our speech therapists focus on developing the skills needed to communicate thoughts and feelings clearly, understand questions, and recognize facial expressions and body language. We also specialize in helping with stuttering, as well as feeding and swallowing. With our customized speech therapy services, we can help your child learn to communicate effectively with others across all environments.
