City of Tucson Parks and Recreation is dedicated to providing quality parks and recreational experiences to the community. Our parks offer a variety of activities such as exercise, play, learning, picnics, and relaxation. We manage and maintain parks throughout Tucson, including Active and Passive Recreation Parks, Natural and Cultural Resource Parks, River Parks and Greenways, Plazas, and Gardens. We also take care of many undeveloped park properties, which may be developed in the future, and Open Space properties, which are preserved as open space. Desert Shadows Park is a great example of our commitment to providing a unique recreational experience that is both safe and enjoyable for everyone.
