CARES, the Clinic for Autism Research, Evaluation and Support, is a College of Education initiative that provides early autism diagnoses to children and families. Our team-based assessment process includes bilingual assessment and referral services for treatment and support. We strive to prepare the next generation of school psychologists, educational diagnosticians and special education graduate students to conduct in-depth evaluations and provide tailored support for individuals and families affected by autism. By utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques, our mission is to equip our students with the resources and knowledge to become leaders in this field and make a positive impact on the autism community.
