Clover Patch Camp, founded in 1965, provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to make new friends, create lasting memories, and experience a genuine camp setting. We offer a 2:1 camper to counselor ratio, surrounded by nature with trails, wooded glades and the Alplaus Creek. Structured activities include arts and crafts, music and drama, sports, swimming and campfires with weekly outreach programs such as pet therapy, clowns, magicians and musicians. All campers have access to our heated, fully accessible pool. Our staff complete a one-week orientation prior to camp, providing them with the necessary training to meet the needs of each camper. We also welcome approximately 10 International staff each year, adding to the diversity of our program. Clover Patch Camp is operated by the Center for Disability Services, a not-for-profit organization with a variety of programs designed to serve individuals with disabilities. We are licensed by the New York State Department of Health, inspected annually, and follow American Camping Association guidelines to provide one of the finest summer camp experiences for individuals with disabilities in the country. Clover Patch Camp is approved through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
