About Community Access Unlimited | Community Access Institute

Founded in 1979, Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is a Union County-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and at-risk youth across New Jersey. With more than 3,000 members and growing, we strive to create an all-inclusive, accessible world where everyone can lead a fulfilling life as part of the greater community. Our mission is to give a voice to individuals who historically hold little power in society, providing our members with essential resources including housing, life skills, employment, personal finance, relationships, and civic engagement. As a leader in the community, we continue to relentlessly work towards a future where everyone can access the opportunities they need to succeed.
