DisAbility Partners, formerly known as Pathways for the Future, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities. Founded in 1991, we’ve grown to become a Center for Independent Living (CIL) and provide core services, such as Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, Peer Counseling, Transitions, and Advocacy, to residents in Haywood, Jackson, Macon, Swain, Clay, Cherokee, and Graham counties in North Carolina. Our mission is to empower persons with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
