The Disability Rights and Resource Center (DRRC) is a private, non-profit, community agency that was established on September 16, 2013, formerly known as Independent Living Services for the Piedmont Area. DRRC provides non-residential programs in Franklin, Henry, Patrick and Pittsylvania counties, as well as the independent cities of Martinsville and Danville. Our support comes from local and state sources, as well as from businesses and individuals in our service area. Our Board of Directors is comprised mostly of members with disabilities and is responsible for governing our services. At DRRC, we strive to empower individuals with disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
