Dorothy J. Wavrek, M.D., FAAP is a pediatric hospitalist with a wealth of experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in audiology and speech sciences from Michigan State University, her master’s degree in audiology from Central Michigan University and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. Furthermore, she completed a pediatrics residency at Thomas Jefferson University/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Wavrek has been a pediatric audiologist in university health systems in Michigan, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years, and she was a pediatrician for Just 4 Kids Pediatrics in Harleysville, Pennsylvania prior to joining Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Wavrek is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Based in Newark, Dorothy J. Wavrek, M.D., FAAP is the premier pediatric hospitalist, providing exceptional service and care.
