Dr. Michael Santa Maria, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, is a native of Western New York who earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Louisiana State University (LSU). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology through the Department of Neurology, SUNY at Buffalo and was the recipient of the Nelson Butters Award from the International Neuropsychological Society (INS) in 2002 for best research by a postdoctoral fellow. As the founding president of the New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN), Dr. Santa Maria has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters. He is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN) and is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), and New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN).
