Dr. Mitch Spero, Child & Family Psychologists, is a Licensed Psychologist serving Fort Lauderdale and its surrounding areas. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Spero is a 2000 President of the Child, Adolescent and Family Division of the Florida Psychological Association. He specializes in Emotionally Handicapped and Learning Disabled Children, Children of Divorce, Custody Evaluations, oppositional/defiant behavior problems at school or home, Stepfamily Adjustment Issues and Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. In addition, he is a Certified and Court Appointed Family Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida, a Certified Member of the American Board of Certified Managed Care Providers, and has taught Counseling Psychology at the Master’s and Bachelor’s level. Dr. Spero is also the Vice President of the Center for Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Inc., a Statewide Multidisciplinary Integrated Mental Health Delivery Network of Psychiatrists, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Masters Level Therapists. He is dedicated to helping individuals, couples and families find solutions to their emotional and mental health needs.
