At Eastside Social Skills Therapy, LLC, we use evidenced-based best practices to customize each program for your child and ensure they receive the best possible treatment. Our programs focus on social skills, language and communication, play, and teaching independent life skills such as potty training, getting dressed, and having a play date with a friend. We use visual schedules and behavior contracts to reduce anxiety, and incorporate your child’s unique interests to motivate them to learn new skills. Our treatments are based on the principles and science of Applied Behavior Analysis. We also provide parent coaching, so parents have tools and strategies to use in their child’s life beyond intervention. We start treatment in the family home and then work to generalize and master those skills outside of the home at school, playdates, and anywhere in the community that those skills can be used in a functional way.
