Equine Assisted Therapy Wildwood is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding activities for individuals with disabilities in the St. Louis area. Founded in 1999 by Ginni and Gary Hartke, the program has been working tirelessly to help those in need. EAT is a member of PATH International and Spirithorse International and charges a small fee for participants (excluding US Veterans and foster children). Funding for the program is obtained through fund raisers, special events, individual and corporate donations and grants. In addition, a scholarship fund is maintained for those unable to pay due to financial hardship. Through these efforts, Equine Assisted Therapy Wildwood is committed to providing therapeutic horseback riding activities for all who need it.
