If you’re wondering if your child needs speech therapy, Excentia Human Services can help. Our experts can assess your child’s needs and provide guidance on the best course of action. Speech therapy is often recommended for autistic children as many of them struggle with social communication. Early intervention is key, as there is a critical period in the brain for language development. Speech therapy can help children to learn effective ways to communicate, leading to greater independence and confidence. Signs your child may need speech therapy include: being very quiet, saying only a few words, or not speaking at all. For more information, visit Excentia Human Services for our comprehensive guide to speech therapy.
