For the past fifteen years, Faith Pediatric Rehabilitation has been providing specialized occupational and speech therapy services for children in the Fort Bend County area in a warm, community-based setting. We understand the challenges of having a special needs child from our owner’s direct experience, and are honored to be on your child’s journey. Our clients range from birth through age 21 and may need help with gross motor milestones like sitting, kneeling, standing, crawling, and walking; fine motor and ADL milestones like dressing themselves, grasping, organizing their belongings, opening and closing containers, and writing and cutting; and speech milestones such as communication, articulation, feeding, and socializing. Our mission is to help each child become as independent as possible in their daily life.

At Faith Pediatric Rehabilitation, we understand that it can be difficult to determine if your child needs speech therapy. If your child is on the autism spectrum, it is likely that speech therapy will be recommended to work on communication skills such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing topics, using gestures, and understanding other people’s body language. Speech therapy can help children become more independent and confident individuals, and is especially important during the early stages of language development. If you are unsure if your child needs speech therapy, our guide provides everything you need to know to make an informed decision. Discover the benefits of speech therapy and how to get started today with Faith Pediatric Rehabilitation.
At Faith Pediatric Rehabilitation, our speech therapists are highly skilled and experienced in helping children improve their communication skills. We can provide a range of therapies to help your child develop their speech, such as using gestures, signs, verbal speech, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Our speech therapy services can help with nonverbal skills, forming speech in a clearer way, communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing and understanding body language, and feeding and swallowing. Our team is dedicated to providing your child with the necessary support and guidance to help them reach their communication goals.
