The Family Advisory Council is committed to providing support, advocacy, and education to parents/guardians of children and adolescents with mental illness and/or learning disabilities. We offer monthly meetings in the Adams Mental Centers, Aurora Mental Health Centers, Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network, Aurora, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas counties. Our mission is to ensure that the families of our participants have access to the necessary resources and information to make informed decisions about their children’s health and wellbeing. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for our members and their families to come together and share their experiences. We are dedicated to helping families through difficult times and providing support for their children’s mental health.
