Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families of children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), or Asperger’s Syndrome. We provide a support network for parents to come together and discuss issues, treatment options, and current events. FEAT has a Board of Directors that meets monthly to prioritize issues and guide the direction of the organization. We also publish e-bulletins on changes in national policies and medical breakthroughs that affect our children. Additionally, FEAT conducts tutor trainings and yearly family outings such as picnics so that families of children with autism can gather, network, and enjoy the day.
