Frederick County Parks and Recreation provides Adaptive Recreation (AR) programs for those with disabilities, developmental differences, and/or higher support needs. Our experienced staff, increased staff/participant ratios, and adapted spaces, materials, and content enable participants to engage in a variety of recreation activities. We proudly emphasize the unique abilities of our participants and strive to create an inclusive and accessible environment.
