The Georgia Department of Public Health, District 4 Public Health, and Spalding County Health Department’s Babies Can’t Wait program is dedicated to providing screening and evaluation for physical and cognitive health, motor skills, language, social/emotional growth, adaptive development, and other developmental concerns in children under three years old. One in six children in the United States have developmental disabilities and our team of experts, including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, special instructors, and service coordinators, provide extra intervention to support the child’s growth and prepare them for success in school. We understand the importance of early detection when it comes to addressing developmental delays, and strive to improve the child’s development potential and meet the family’s needs.
