At Gerald Silverboard, MD, Child Neurology Office, we are starting our Forteith Year of Practice in Neurology serving the greater Atlanta Community, our Hometown. Our office specializes in the full spectrum of Neurological conditions, including Migraine, Cerebral Aneurysms/ AVMs, Stroke, Parkinsons disease, Dementia and Alzheimers disease, Movement disorders, Tremor, Fainting, Epilepsy, Seizures, Vertigo, Sports related Concussion, Peripheral Neuropathy and Neurological Complications of Medical Illnesses such as Cancer, Metabolic disease and Diabetes/ Endocrine disorders. We accept referrals from ENT, Ob Gyn, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry for Neurological complications of those Specialties. We offer the full range of ancillary tests including MRI and CT Brain and Spine Imaging, Electroencephalography (EEG), Neurophysiology tests such as EMG/NCV as well as Neuropsychology assessment when indicated. Our staff is dedicated to providing continuity of care and answering patient concerns in a timely fashion. We are on the active staff of Emory St. Josephs and Northside Hospital as well as Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, and work closely with the Neurohospitalist Services at Emory and Northside. We can also refer patients for Physical, Occupational and Cognitive Therapy if indicated, and provide Transition of Care for Neurologically challenged young Adults. We have published extensively on Stroke, Migraine and Epilepsy in the adult literature.
